This may be a doable deal.....sounds like the interest is there.

Anyone want to (ahem...Tripper) volunteer to look at the ins and outs of the AHMRA?

Todd, that's Erik on the left.

Here are the meeting dates for 2004 AHRMA races. I highlighted in BLUE sites that are in the vicinity of Tilley's. Of course for the western dates or if Gene Church has a conflict we could always call in our rider Susan Wilson.

OK Court, I'll bite. Entry fees are in the $100 range. Downloading the rulebook now.

If Don Tilley and Gene Church agree to go after this adventure, I would think that HOG might have interest in being associated with it.

If anyone wants to read some of the fun that Vintage Road Racing can be, find Patrick Boddens "deja vu" column in Motorcyclist Magazine.

Oh My GOD, you all have to get that bad boy back on the track. I live in Colorado, but if the Hammer is racing, I will be there.

I'll make sure that Mr. Church doesn't get thirsty, plus I'll keep the radiator on the "Hammer" filled up too. ;)

Spidey, I may be dumb enough to own and love my Buell, but I at least know that water belongs no where inside these bikes.

So where are we on this idea? I can see that a 'TeamElves Vintage Division' may be a possibility (assuming the Salt Racers have not incorporated and trademarked the name). If Mr. Tilley is willing to jump in and rebuild Lucifer's Hammer, there certainly is enough enthusiasm here to develop a support network for the team. I have some ideas but am hesitant to say more unless she really is coming back from the dead.

Brian, if you are able to confirm that Tilley's HD is interested in entering Lucifer I in AHRMA events, we'd like to hear about it. What say ye?

please,please,please say yes.
