I keep hearing about race kits, ecm spy, tps reset. How and where do you get this and how much does it cost? Also how much would it cost to get a Drummer and set up right? Thanks!!! |

Race kits are obsolete. But, they do show up on here and Ebay from time to time (Big $$$). All you need is a Race ECM, Hi Flo Filter, your choice of pipe and a TPS reset! G2G! |

^^ What he said. The race kits are cool, but go for too much money typically. You can buy a K&N filter for your ride, get the race ECM from your dealer or americansportbike.com ( http://buell.com/en_us/gear/accessories/product.as p?Menu_ID=2&ProductLineID=3&CategoryID=1&ProductID =2213 ), and get your choice of pipe. americansportbike.com has a pretty good review of exhausts- look on their front page for the link. |

Not at all, Used Drummer, around 350 to 400, ECM spy, free (cable around 60 bucks) Race ECM Free if you push the map on your stock box (using Ecm Spy) K7N filter around 50 bucks. TPS reset, free using Ecm Spy. so now your looking around 550 or so. Spend the left over on some good tires and or some good gear and all is good in the world. |

where do I get the cable at and is it difficult to use? Sorry about all the questions, but I really can't afford to learn the hard way right now. |

Brutus, the best way to learn about ecmspy is to go to their web page, ecmspy dot com. You can find links to purchase the parts to build your own cable, or find someone who makes them and order one. They are very easy to make, and require only the noobiest of soldering skills, and the ability to read. ECMspy is pretty simple to use, but it is also pretty simple to use incorrectly also. And using it incorrectly can cause damage to your motor. |

You can also buy a ready make cable from battsracing.com, that's where I get mine in about 2 days or ebay just search for buell ecm and I believe there always cables for sale. Ecmspy it's not that difficult if you take the time and read the tutorial in their web site. Muffler it's a matter of choice, the most readily available DRUMMER, Specialops and Jardine. |

Pirelli tires are God, p.s. Don't be a retard, EcmSpy = free Race map download = free Race Ecm = $2xx Someone will chime in and cry about how you're stealing. (Message edited by mr2shim on August 26, 2008) |

Stealing what? Race ECM is not for street use, says so right on the web site. '03s use the same chip. These are public share and researched to be shared. |

If you want to do the open air box, hi flow filter and a new exhaust do you have to do all this ecmspy stuff or could you run that Remus Powerizer instead?? |

I agree that ecmspy is the way to go. BUT...if you want a plug and play, simple route to take, then get a race ecm...they are getting cheaper every day... |

i didn't at first. and just putting a k&n on, imo, is the most bang for the buck. (other than all that is free) |

Drummer & K&N. That's all you need. My XB12Ss still holds the Liberty Dyno shootout record for 12s. |
