Dyna,
Was that you I was bidding against? I have to get one of those.

CJ,
They have been popping up on Ebay, the only S's I have seen are the yellow. I have tried to find a retail outlet for them and can't yet. If I happen to see a Black S I will let you know. I have been on motorcycles for 30 years and this is the closest I have been to actually having a model that matches my current bike. Gotta have one.
Ben

P.S. Dyna where are you going to find chaps to go with that?

Xben, hey thanks and do let me know if you see a black, I think I'd even take a yellow one if I couldn't get black.

Never done E-bay, but think I'll learn and see if I can find me one !

Yep ebay is the place. Seems like they are all coming from overseas. Just about everyone is going for right around $24 so I just found 1 that had the buy it now deal for that price & snagged it. They are small as size is 1:24...smaller than than the maisto bikes in the stores..those are 1:18 scale. But hell its the only Firebolt model out & I have all the other Buell ones.

I think Barbies chaps would be too big for that bike...besides that, they make my ass look fat:D

My brother has hundreds of scale diecast cars and I asked him to find them in the states after I saw the 9R on Ebay a couple of weeks ago. He could not find anything though.

Seems like Ebay is the only place for now, and I have only seen the yellow S' and white R's.

Fuscat...you gonna let Bruce call you a Dweeb?

Its the same scale as the VR model that harley had. About 6" long or so. Heres a link, I have one. Its pretty good. The attention to detail is better on the VR but this one isnt bad for around $40 or so. http://www.libertyclassics.com/Pages/webexclusive.asp

I also have the Hotwheels S3 that was released as part of the Rumble road set. I have a single bike & the whole 4 bike set.

BTW Bruce...calling someone a Dweeb for collecting toy motorcycles wont win you any points here. A lot of folks on all 3 boards collect em. Right now I have over 125 of em & they are taking over my whole computer room.

PS....you gonna take me up on the challenge I offered or what?

Sorry for the post. I mistook you for DYNA on the Sacborg board. Actually I like the model.

My apologies.
