Hi,

On my (ex) XB9R there was a white wire that created a big hole around 3G - for European emissions standards - is anyone aware of the 12's having a similar wiring pattern (I have the shop manual for the 9 but not for the 12...)

Also, I've fitted the K&N on the 12 and it is running much worse on partial/closed throttle than with the stock filter - any thoughts on this - will the ECM remap the AF mix to compensate our would you suggest getting back to bone stock?

For the record the 12S is a GREAT bike - just what I was looking for!

Yes, same as on the 9, cut mine immediately.
As for the K&N: I don't know, but got that one in as well.
