as you can see the stock run started late but heres and educated guess at 2.5 k dead even on torque at 3k maybe +2 then from there on its plus 3 or 4 ft/lbs better and hp is about 3 or 4better across the board. top numbers are if ya can't read them stock 88 hp torque is 72.6 drummer if ya look close the run stopped reading earliy so guess at its top hp but I figure 90 hp and and 75 ft'lbs but to hell with top numbers read the lines thats where the story lies. thanks everybody especially ralph and dave and reece.....all I can say is .....batter up who's next |

Bubba, It wasn't Reece that put it on but my newest upcoming Buell tech Matt. I was talking to him while he was between runs on the dyno and his exact statement was" I like working on the Buells" I think i have another Daveciple on the team! Ralph just left with his bike and assuming he doesn't get hauled to jail on his way home will have a report soon. Ride to the edge! Dave Iowa HD/Buell (Buell Cycle Center) |

Sounds like those are the results you were wanting from that muffler Brian. Good work. Hopefully that $130 to the UK includes the muffler and not just postage! DAve

It's a "Super Secret" meeting. Dave and Brian are meeting to make plans for the worlds first and only all Buell 100% customer service satisfaction dealership. Thats right! Knowledgeable service techs, friendly sales reps, and only 1 brand of motorcycle. Ok. Ok. Ok. I need to wake up from that dream! |

Sorry guys, I just got settled in and I've been catching up on all the posts about my bike! I feel like a celebrity!! What started out, Monday, as a 1000 mile service turned into the full tilt boogie on the XB12R. Actually, I had planned to do a pipe, ECM and filter deal this winter anyway but Daves had the Drummer lying there and I was weak so the deal got done plus he knows how to shoot and kill things from a long way away!! Just kidding!! O.K., the bike runs great, period!!! I was used to the popping of a SuperTrapp on my M2 but the DRUMMER does not do it at all, has a great seat of the pants feel and a super sound!! Not tinny at all, a great low rumble which is not obnoxious and won’t upset any neighbors. It really sounds great sitting at a stop sign as the stock pipe was so quiet it was embarrassing. The pull through first gear gets you to the rev limiter VERY quickly, a track day may require short shifting out of first or using second a lot more. IT’S COOL!! The Bottom Line... Erik and the Buell engineers really did their homework on the 12 pipe. As you have seen the gains were consistently higher across the board but not by a staggering amount. If you are tired of riding a vacuum cleaner sounding pipe, this is the one, HANDS DOWN!! If you look at the dollars invested for installation of the Race ECM, filter and the DRUMMER or any pipe, as far as that goes, the 12 stock set-up is pretty darn good and is included in the price of the bike. So it comes down to a little more gain, stock appearance and serviceability and a LOT better sound. For me guys, it was worth every penny!!!!! THANKS, Bubba!!! This pipe is COOL!! Ralph / Gearhead |

P.S. I was one of the guys who was very concerned about the look of the pipe, especially the outlet. The pipe looks great on the bike with a very nice finish and tip. To the untrained eye or a quick glance it does not stand out, very stealthy!! It’s COOL!! Gearhead-Ralph |
