So what does this little gem actually do? I'm guessing it measures the bank angle but how does the bike use that information?

Thanks

It's a device that has been installed in recent Buells in response to the savings and loan and mortgage banking problems lately.

In the event your bank is at risk of failing a red light illuminates on the instrument panel that provides the shortest route to your bank, your current account balance and instructions to immediately liquidate those balances in that institution.

At present, the corollary "WNS" (What NOW Sensor), that will recommend a prudent course of action, is still in development. Until it has been perfected all withdrawn funds should be sent to:

Buell have your butt covered or what. . . . ?

Seriously: It is a small electric switch that cuts off the fuel supply in the event the motorcycle is tipped over.

Thats awesome Court : )

Yep it kills the engine in the event the bike is dropped or for some other reason ends up on its side.

Did not work on mine.

After the bike lock took out the swingarm the bike lay on its side turning the metal mess around and around.

Should be easy to test, just unbolt it and turn it while the engine is running.

Mine worked so well it took a few minutes for the bike to start back up. It seemed like the bike "died" on impact.

You need to cycle the key to reset it. (or is it just the kill switch. either way...)
