Anyone know? I've always admired the look (they used to offer it in fiberglass...?).

I can't even tell what the hell that is. IF it is what i think it is, it goes over the frame, so no, because the XB9's have a different frame. If you want carbon, get it from Buell, American Sport Bike, or Trojan. You won't be dissipointed as it isn't cheap shit like the stuff in the link.

LOL, it's an air scoop. Hangs in the same place the stock one does, and relocates the oil cooler. I'm just not sure if the Ss's and the R's share the same scoop bolt pattern.

I need to see a photo of that thing on a bike. I can't make heads or tails out of it from that photo. Looks like an oil cooler in a puddle of dirty oil to me.

Like so. The scale may be just a bit off, but should be close. I left the original oil cooler in the pic for size comparison. I sticks out a good bit, so I'm guessing it must still clear the forks at full lock.

I've seen pics of a bike with it really installed, and thought it looked great. Dunno where I saw it though.

No where will you find me saying I think all BMW designs are beautiful. Those GS bikes are pretty fugly too (but then I find all of those big "trailie" bikes ugly... including the Ulysses).

Likewise that K1200S naked is pretty damned ugly too. Right up there with the Triumph Speed Triple; they both look like crashed bikes that were patched up and put back on the road.
