IF it is what i think it is, it goes over the frame, so no, because the XB9's have a different frame. If you want carbon, get it from Buell, American Sport Bike, or Trojan. Hangs in the same place the stock one does, and relocates the oil cooler. The scale may be just a bit off, but should be close. I left the original oil cooler in the pic for size comparison. I sticks out a good bit, so I'm guessing it must still clear the forks at full lock. I've seen pics of a bike with it really installed, and thought it looked great. Those GS bikes are pretty fugly too (but then I find all of those big "trailie" bikes ugly... including the Ulysses). Likewise that K1200S naked is pretty damned ugly too. Right up there with the Triumph Speed Triple; they both look like crashed bikes that were patched up and put back on the road.
