I recently purchased a 2004 Buell Firebolt XB12R, it stopped running recently so i tested the stator which was putting out the correct voltage, i then tested the voltage regulator, which was bad, i replaced the voltage regulator and the bike ran great for about 3 hours then when i stopped it the bike wouldn't start again when i turned the key the gauge wouldn't even turn on, i then replaced the battery now the gauge came on, but when i flip the engine kill switch to run the bike does not make that whining noise they usually do, and when i press the start switch nothing happens, absolutely nothing, no noise or anything, help me, what could it be and how much will the parts cost.

Check the relays on the left side of the instrument cluster, also check the fuses on the right side.

You blew a fuse but why?
fist make sure you have a good ground and then check fuses find the one blown and trace it to the problem
