i am by no means a computer genus! ecm spy is on the new laptop but i need to install the driver anyone wanna walk me thru it? the driver directions are only for XP and they may as well be in greek anyways.

Vista will do it for you. Just don't touch anything while it's doing so. Make sure you have an internet connection that will reach to wherever you and your bike are.

Short Walk Thu...


Plug usb side into computer.

Plug other side into motorbike.

Make sure bike is in neutral.

Turn the key to on

Flip the switch to RUN

Open EcmSpy

In EcmSpy click "Communications Options" Serial Jack looking icon.

Click Autodecect. (if memory serves me it will install a driver when you click autodetect.)

Click ok once it found what port you are connected to.

Click the Keys, All the gauges should be working.

Mr2.....thanks for the help, it linked right up. the driver install instructions were far more in depth than they needed to be.
