I bought a set from my local Cycle Gear, they fit perfect and work great. I figure that after shipping it wasn't that much of a difference in price, it probably save you a few bucks if you buy from fleabay and I rather give my business to a store that I can go daydream every once in a while.

I just bought them, one came with a stripped out bolt hole. I contacted the seller and he is shipping me a new one. The one i have installed looks really nice. I haven't had a chance to ride with them yet, broken collar bone. Installing is easy. If you have trouble getting them installed tightly, wrap a layer of duct tape around the expanding bolt unit, then torque the hell out of it.

I put a set on the wifes scg and have not had any problem what so ever with them. The only advise is to loctite every bolt, they tend to rattle loose.

I have those in black on my Uly.

Cheap, expendable and they work.

CRG lane splitter knuckles will fit right on and allow you to fold then in traffic.

i never liked the convex lens thing, always preferred "regular" flat glass.. I bought mine from a bicycle shop, work great, $16.00 each....have used same brand on my last 6 bikes.

"what did you do with the holes for the stockers???"

Lowes or Home Depot, etc. and get some black hole plugs.

your local stealer-ship should have some little plastic plugs for 30 cents each.
i got some fancy 2 dollar-bolts from the hardware store and used those before i knew that the stealership had 'em. don't know the part #, but i can tell you they are on the firebolts, cuz they gots differnt mirrors and such.....

I wouldn't think just plug the stock holes would be good. The stock mirrors are a part of what hold the fairing to the bracket. +1 on the bolts. I'm personally going to stay with my black spike theme I'm using as windscreen screws. I plan on doing this to fill the holes when I get my bar ends.}

^^^^I think we are talking Lightnings...for the Bolts you need the block off plates...correct? Anyhow, thanks for all the input...I think I'll try them out and worst case is I leave the stockers on with the bar ends...like a fellow Bad Web'r.

By the way...how do the gray ones go with the gray on our Buells...? I like them better than the black but would like them to match somewhat.

I've got the gray ones on my 12 and don't think they look too bad.
