Just be safe and stay out of traffic.

Get the axle sliders and bar ends from darkhorsemoto, maybe even get the passenger peg sliders. The Eco sliders are probably the best purchase you can make as far as protection/$$, second only to frame pucks but you should have those standard on the SX.
With the sliders and frame pucks damage is minimal in low speed laydowns, which is what you're most likely going to see.
It might be wise to get a extra set of pegs, they're fragile and break easy (I think they're designed to break to reduce damage to the side plates.)

I notice that you're right down the road from me (I'm in Mobile) We should meet up sometime. I could use a few pointers on my wheelies and stoppies. I can't seem to find the balance point and my stoppies are usually accidental.

There are pro teams that stunt them. Team Xtreem and Psycho Buells are the two that I know of.

Oh yeah... most importantly. Get some good protection for yourself. If you're going to be doing a lot of low speed stunting then something like Icon's Field Armor might be good. It's got good impact protection but minimal abrasion protection.

yeah we should get together sometime. I cannot give you any pointers on your balance point except keep on that back brake cause it is way up there and just a little too far is way too far. I do have pretty good protection for myself just need the protection for my bike so i think i am going to get powers stuntworx crashcage and 12 bar before i do anymore stuntin cause these parts are going to be expensive this time. I mainly need to get sponsored by someone who carries buell parts so i can just get a discount on parts. I think i am going to talk to the local pensacola shop. How is the dealer there in mobile with the Buells??

LOL, what dealer? We have not one, but 2 Harley Dealers and neither carry Buells. In fact, Mobile Bay HD was been down right rude to me when I asked them to work on my bike.

back in 1999 i owned my first bike i was 19 and crazy so i wheelied everywhere and down the free way and throughout the neighbor hood. stoppied at every light and thought dam i am cool. countless times kissing the pavement and fixing my bike. sold my bike and stopped riding cause i was tired of not being able to surf or race my go kart due to lack of skin. fastforward almost ten years to a wife and kid, and new buell and stunting is like the xgames was when i was 16........ hyped
havent even wanted to wheelie let alone drop one of the best bikes ive ever riden.
thats my story
a crash cage would be cool just cause......you never know whats going to happen 60 miles a day 6 days a week commute. thats 360 miles a week i play the game. to me thats stunting.
maybe one day in a perfect area ill pull the front wheel off the ground, but for me the turns are where i get my jollys.....maybe im old.

and as far as people crazy enough to stunt a american sport bike we cant forget about

"Does anyone out there stunt their buell????"

Yes.

" to get hooked up with the right people to get parts cause this could get expensive."

What does that statement mean?

FYI: power stunt works makes a nice cage for the XB's

Yeah i will be ordering the crash cage, 12 bar, and sliders very soon I have no video yet as i am just getting started with my stuntin. I just cant believe not too many buell riders stunt. It is a great way to get the brand name some street cred i think. Professionals have to start somewhere maybe sometime in the future i will be a pro but untill then i need to get discounts on parts. Even the pro you posted dropped his bike in one of his videos its just what happens when you push it to the limit. So anywho i am getting the brand name out there here in Pensacola Florida and standing out with something different then a 636 or gsxr reppin for america gotta have some pride in what is made in this country. Besides it is my time to shine I am 25 and my bike is a 25th anniversary edition. I was born to ride buells and take pride in that notion.

When I go into dealerships and tell them if they give me stuff, I'll give them street cred, they always laugh at me. Not saying it wouldn't work for you, I'm just saying.

Do you have a repertoire of tricks now?

Look at the average age of a buell owner. Most of us are not 20 looking for expensive thrills.
