Hi
I pick up my Buell in five days..... XB9S demo in yellow, already has factory racekit fitted. BUT - I've got to do something about those Mickey Mouse mirrors.... Can anyone share info on good replacements - bar end or otherwise? Something with some style befitting the bike would be good!

I've got Third Eye mirrors.
And I love 'em.

Cheers Glitch - they look smart. Visibility pretty good? Did you source them from a website or somewhere local?

I bought them from a fellow BadWeBber, Scully.
The visibility is better than the Mickey Mouse ears. Less vibration, and I don't see my arms in them, I see behind me. If you do a Google search for Third Eye Mirrors, you'll find 'em, they run about $10 each...
Some of our sponsors sell other brands of bar ends as well...

I bought a brand new pair of Third Eye mirrors off someone on Ebay 3 weeks ago - $9.50 shipped for both! I wasn't sure if I'd like the mirrors being positioned so low so I wanted to try these cheapies before spending the $$$ on the CRG mirrors. After a few rides I am used to them and I like them very much. I'm just going to keep using these and save my money. The CRG's look nicer but when I'm riding I can't see the back side of the mirror anyway. :)

I just ordered these Third Eye mirrors. Are they difficult to install?? Any tips will be appreciated as I am not all that handy with a wrench!

Thanks

I dont care for the napoleans. Mav has a pair on his X1 & when I rode it with my gloves on I had no clearance between my hand & the bottom of the mirrors. I guess if you have small hands they would be ok. I prefer my CRG bar end mirrors. Pricey but damn well worth it.
