I just got a BRAND NEW (10 miles) '06 Ss that ran me $6500. Don't plan on getting it that cheap though, I got lucky and picked this one up in an auction in Billings (inventory reduction). In my search, it seems as though they really don't want to part with these things no matter how old they are. I was looking at a holdover '07 in Seattle last Nov. and they wouldn't budge from $9900. I offered $9000 and they came back with "Sorry, we have to get $9900 for it". It may have just been the dealership though. If it were me, I would walk in and offer $8000 and go from there. If you want to chance not getting it, think about waiting a little longer until the '09s start arriving. Would give you a little more leverage since it would then be 2 MYs old. Good luck!!!

Doubled is right....it depends on the dealership. I got my 05 XB12R (3 miles on speedo) off the showroom for $8300 (listed for $10495) and that was in May of 06 (07's hadn't hit the floor yet). I called all the dealerships within a 2 hour radius to find mine. A couple hours commute for a couple thousand dollars well worth it to me.
