Bads1, they will be up for sale shortly. I need to clean them off, they are filthy. Tires are shot on them. The front has 18k miles, and the rear has 11k on it. God the rear is so square that if the kickstand broke, it wouldn't be an issue : )

Big back the Fat Cat!!

They are the Buell Hero Blue rims, they are in the accessories catatloge, and are stock on 08 cityx and artic white 08 firebolt.

I was at my buddies house doing the swap, those are his ATV wheels and junk, i know i just ordered a set of mud tires to throw on those rims.

The exhaust is Micron, I have had it on for about a week, there is another thread here in the Xboard about it. Ignore the black smudge on the header, thats whats left of my front fairing...

Sad about the fairing and the black on the header... But the bike is definitely a looker. I am in the middle of jazzing up my STT and I was considering blue and white. This helps with the mental image of blue on STT. Thanks a lot!

Very NICE!

Thanks for the updates and info

Is mounting motorcycle tires something you can do yourself? They don't need balancing like car tires?

Mounting can be done yourself assuming you had all the right stuff. They do require balancing just like cars. Mine were done by my dealer.

The stands are T-rex universal mounts. We had a issue with the front one, you can't take the axle off while on the stand because the stand blocks the hole. Thats why we went ghetto and used a few blocks of wood. I believe the pitbull stands clamp on below the headlights so they don't have this issue.

Friggin sweet, makes me want the blue rims badly again!

You say you can't use the T-Rex stands to remove the front wheel? Are you talking the fork stand, or the triple tree stand?

They were fork stands, I do not know if they offer a triple tree version.

Here are some more pics in daylight, these are the last time is saw the bike! Its been in the shop because of issues with the exhaust.

Are those PIAA's next to the headlights? Do you dig em? How are they wired? (into the high beam perhaps?)

Also, what brake pads are you using? Do they get rid of the "grabby" feel?

P.S. Where did you get those mirrors? (are they from Ducati?)

The mirrors are off an Aprilia Tuono. Its part numbers #AP8104921, #AP8104922. You can snag them from a Aprilia dealer or American Sport Bike sells them now.

The PIAAs came with the bike when i bought it, but i moved them to next the headlights with a Gary Light Bar. They are nice and bright. They are wired in using the relay it comes with. You can see my switch in that last photo under the seat behind the heated suit plug.

Hey, how do you find that pipe? I heard it adds 7 pounds to the right side of the bike.

Did you have to drill out your lower triple trees for the bar to mount?

do you have a link for "Gary's light bar"?

Thanks much!

There are 2 holes in the trees that the beak screws into. It mounts with that.

Here is garys profile, send him a PM

So far i like the pipe, but i have had a few issues with it, but i dont know if they are related to the pipe itself of installation. The front headers exhaust flange broke off, and also the bolts that hold on the chinfairing vibrated out, but as far as looks and performance, i am happy. : )

Those pipes look great w/o the chin fairing - looks like you can remove the chin fairing brackets, too?

Does anything hold up that exhaust can, or is it all hanging from the heads?
