I cant find the plastic bar end plugs anywhere. I like the look and want to stick with, even though I should switch to a weight. Cant find them anywhere!! I just bought some Ducati plugs But for future I would love to know where to get them.

Well, the fella who bought my XB yesterday has about 5 of 'em in a box he took with. I'm sure there are others on this forum who will send you theirs after switching to sliders, like those excellent ones from DarkHorseMoto.

Dealer is the only place I could think of to get the stock bar ends.
You could use these, there nice, don't stick out too far and add a little weight to the end. Plus there very cheap

That is what I have on my bike. I like the way they look on my bike.

But I may have a set of the old ones if you need some. I will need to look for them.

Are you looking for the stock bar-end plugs? They are round and stick... if so they are available from the dealer. Those are for the Lightnings.
I actually use a pair of flat plastic plugs that i pulled from a pair generic after market bars.

The dealer in my area said he could not get them and did not know where or how to get them. Lots of help there. I mean its a stock Buell product right. Its Indianapolis South side H.D. & Buell by the way.

Wrap a rag around them a couple layers thick and pull straight out with multigrips. What could be easier? Yeah easily bought at the dealer, get 4 for their trouble though cause sure as shit you'll need another one some day.

Just get the Eco bar end sliders from Dark Horse Moto -- they look nice and will protect your bike. I'm all for ascetics but I like my bike protected.

ha bar ends. wrecked twice, both times destroyed the handlebar itself. unless you want your bike to look pretty, the bar ends are pointless. just my opinion anyone know of any way to save the handlebars from bending? (besides not wrecking)

I may be a bit biased, but if you're looking for some vibration reduction and lever protection you might want to consider the bar ends from www.HVMP.com

I disagree about plastic bar ends being pointless, at least as far as Ulysses bar ends go... They absorb shock in a fall.

Go to any (real) bicycle shop and they'll just give handlebar plugs to you for free.

I got two plugs on my bike now with some sort of dancing dragon embossed on the them... I assume they're from China, where most bicycles are made now.

The dancing dragons are cool.
