Has anyone experienced a situation when you turn the handlebars to the left, everything shuts off, like you had turned the ignition key to off? As soon as you turn the bars back to straight, every thing goes back to normal. I've seen some posts about a wire under the chin fairing sometimes being exposed, I'm going to check that first, but didn't know if anyone has experienced what I described? Bike has almost 3000 miles with no mods and runs great.

Check all the wiring that runs by the steering head for rub throughs.

I pulled of the windscreen (that's what I meant to say, not the chin fairing (duh!)). It looks like something is shorting in the wiring harness as it passes over the steering head, right under the bracket that holds the wiring harness to the steering head. The outer wiring insulation is intact, so since it's still under warranty, I'll just get something lined up with the dealership next week. I'll be sure to post the outcome.

Make sure you're VERY specific when you tell them what to check.
