Ever since I installed my LED blinkers the stock blinker relay will barely flash them. Sometimes it will flash them if the RPMs are just above idle, but not too well at idle or with the bike off. I guess these blinkers are just a hair too small for the relay. American Sport Bike has a relay to fix this but they are closed I heard for a couple of weeks. Is this relay something I can get online at Mouser or somewhere else? I have no idea what to look for. Thanks!

You may be able to find an electronic relay that will work at an auto parts store, but it will be a roll of the dice.

The problem with the relay you have is one of resistance. The LEDs do not put enough of a load on the relay to get it to flash.
There are ways to make it work by adding resistors to the line, but that may be more technical than what you want to do and
will take more time and trouble than simply buying and plugging in the right relay.

Now that I think of it the 1125r has LED turn signals so the relay from it should work (unless it's a different config)
and that should be available at your Buell dealer. (IF you can get them to acknowledge your existence)

The 1125r blinkers are driven by the instrument cluster, not by a relay. Sorry.

Any relay that has the same pinout and is time-based, not resistance-based, will work. You can do an ebay search for LED motorcycle flasher and you'll get options ad nauseum...

I simply soldered 10ohm resisters (.99cents at radio shack for a 10 pack) to the turn signals. I soldered 1 to the left blinker and 1 to the right. This was enough resistance to slow both front and rear blinkers down. The blinkers still blink faster... but I like that, because the draw more attention.

It's kind of crappy that you can't even open the American Sport Bike online store right now...

What I was able to do was look at the part they stock online and see the factory part # in the photo, then bring that to my local auto parts store and they were able to cross-reference it.

The one I have is a NAPA brand relay and it flashes faster than the stock one did with regular bulbs, but it does the job.
