I've looked all over, but I can't find an answer. Will the number plates from the TT fit on the cityx?

They should bolt right up to where the passenger peg brackets bolt.

You may have to do some configuring though - there's a third bolt at the base of the side reflector in the back of the tail section, and that distance is different from a standard to a long wheelbase XBS. But yes, the main 2 bolts at the footpeg bracket mount will match.

I understand that the hole for the seat lock is slightly different as well. There was a guy selling a set on ebay that he modified to fit a standard S.

The holes are the same, you will need the rear bracket off the reflector where the rear fender bracket is. The should bolt right up. I had a set on mine for a week to see how it looked. With the orange and white combo, it looked like a flippin orange creamsicle.
