Trying to find out if anyone has feed back on whether or not I need to pick the sterling silver or the extreme sterling from Jet Hot to make sure that the headers will not turn yellow/blue after heat cycling. From Jet Hot's web site, the sterling silver can withstand temps up to 1300 F, while the extreme sterling will hold its shine 200 F higher.
If the feed back is that the sterling silver has held its silver shine, then I have no reasons to pay the extra money for the extreme sterling.
My plan is to coat the Micron header silver, and the muffler flat black. My XB12S is blue. If anyone has pictures of a blue XB12S with either a silver or black header, please share.

Cheers

I have a sterling finish on my micron tubes on my 12R, but it has lost it's gloss, so the tubes will get recoated in the extreme sterling this week.

Yeah, mine are loosing their luster up near the engine heads. Go for the extreme sterling.

Appreciate the feed back guys. Thanks for passing on the knowledge.
Now if someone has a picture of a blue XB12S with a silver or black powder coated header, that would make my day ; )

Cheers
