I switched from Dino juice to Syn today. Motor is a lot quieter?? Less of the "Tap Dancing Mice" clatter! I also used it in the primary and the clutch works smoother and no more LOUD THUMP when I shift into gear. I hope this is normal and if I like it. Strange thing is I put 2 1/2 QT in and then rode around the block and checked it right after the fan stopped and it wasn't even up to the dip stick. I had to add about another 4 Oz to get in the half way range. BTW I did use HD oil and put a full Qt in the primary no problem there. | ||

When you changed it did your put any oil in the filter? You are supposed to put about 4 oz. in it so that may be why you had to add. | ||

I filled it up, but I thought that was part of the 2 1/2 Qt the motor took? | ||

Just go in from the short ride to check my oil after changing it today. 2.5 quarts and it is halfway up the stick. Didn't need to add any at all. |
