The Bolt that goes into the Primary That holds the shifter lever on, What size Heli Coil Would one NeeD to replace the threads in there?? Would one still use the same bolt that holds the shifter lever on after installing the Coil? Been years Since I use these coils and not many at that, And The Old Hard Drive in Me HEad hasn`t been rebooted for a LOngggg time And I forget..Thanks for Da help....!

I did mine a year ago and if you purchase the right one you can reuse the same bolt. I had to take my bolt to the local hardware store to confirm the size and pitch and I would suggest you do the same. It should be a 10-24 and here is a link to Enco. Good luck,

I tapped it out to the next size. Went to Napa and got some steal tubing that looks just like the buell bushing and cut it to the right length. Got some lock tite and it works great. Did ya drop it?

Thanks guys.. NO I never went down. and Not for my ride, another fella has problems, may try to fix for him, was just checking on different ideals how to fix the threads in the case ahead of time...!
