i'm running pcIII's now, corner great, but the rear is showing some significant wear at about 2500 mi. they do stick like glue. btw i mostly commute, but do ride the twisties as often as possible. i will keep you posted on the milage as i do chew the miles commuting everyday.

I just replaced my original "free" Corsa III on the front after 16,000 miles. My first rear III lasted 10,000 miles which included a 2500 mile trip to Deals Gap and the current rear has 6,000 miles and should easily make 10,000.

Awesome tire on all fronts!

I was going to get Diablos but the store was out so I go the CorsaIII. They are great tires. 3000 and a track day on them so far.

Man, where on earth do you guys ride where you get that kind of mileage out of Corsa IIIs? Geez, I've never gotten 10K out of ANY tire.

I got 7.5K on my back Diablo before I decided to roost it. 7.5k on my front with about 80-85% tread left. Pirelli is a damn good tire.

Yea I wonder how you can get so many miles out of these Corsa III's???? I am on my third set and I don't think I've gotten more than 5K out of each set.

If you can get 5000 out of any sports tire like the Corsa III your doing good...if you get more then you are not riding hard enough...lol.
08_xbss the Pirelli's wear very well, but it really comes down to the riding you do. Tons of twisties the side will wear, lots of flat land riding and goosing the throttle the center will wear quicker.
The way I see it is, if the price is good and the tires are good then do it. You wont be unhappy with the way they perform.

if you put 10K on a sport tire you could probably see the air in it

Nil, I get a bit of a discount on tires. I only paid $125 for my rear. I locked up the rear avoiding a dipsh!t coming around the corner in the parking garage at work. The tire split right down the middle but didn't puncture. I didn't notice this until I got home so I decided to have a little fun. I'm still trying to get the rubber off the under tail.

This is my first street bike so I'm not scrapping my knees yet...probably why my tires last so long.
