Alright, are the 1125 mirrors any better then the stock bolt mirrors or do they suffer from the same issues as the bolt stockers? Also I was looking at some new grips and found some gel "large" style grip that are supposed to be thicker then stock. Has anyone tried something like this? Does the gel help? Are the Large style grips easier to grab?

What "issues" on the stocker mirrors are you referring to? They are pretty slick.

Don't know about gels - I run Torques and love 'em (big grips, small $$)

I put Firebolt mirrors on my 1125R.
Whitey pegged it.

Lead-shot in the bars helps kill the vibes.

+1 on what Zac said. Or Throttlemeister. And/ or: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/365649.html?1212430334

IMHO they still need to be wider. Maybe I'll try the mirror extensions.

+1 That's my only complaint.

No vibration on my '07. Maybe your fairing is loose???or the cast mag fairing support is cracked???Check all fasteners. Check engine jesus bolt and frame. Find the source of vibration. Should not vibrate as designed.

Just saying, mine don't vibrate at all, which amazed me when I got the bike 14K miles ago, never vibrated since.

My other bike is a '99 Sportster and its engine is solid mounted to the frame. It vibrates mirrors at various RPM throughout the power band.

On the FireBolt, the mirrors are on the fairing, not the bars. Don't see how this solution would help.

fastxb12r, I had thought of doing that myself or adding a piece of rubber in between there, but I'm taking the fairing apart and adding HID's so I figured now would be the time to add these signals.

Thats when I did this was when I put my HID's in also.If you plan on changing your gauge face it is best to do it now otherwise the wires get to be a pain in the @$$.trust me I learned the hard way.
It stopped all vibration because the rivet is not that tight and it has like 6 thin washers that dont help the matter. When I put the bolt in I only put 2 washers one on top one on bottom.when your bolting it just make shure you line it up close to where you would normally want it as it doesnt have all the play as it used to when bolted.Trust me it works and I have had no problems with it.

I can vouch for Fastxb12r. I have the same set up...Took the rivets out and bolted them down. Also if you dont bolt them you will spend the whole time lookin at yourself as you ride..thats just the way the 1125 mirrors set on the Firebolt. The 1125 mirrors have little groves in the joints to self align. Those grooves dont help the issue so I filed them down more flat and works fine.
In short, the vibration will always be there in your XB mirrors, its the nature of the beast. You just have to ride at the right RPM and the shaking lessens at a point. Stops signs and red lights...FORGET IT. Good luck!

I'm interested in pulling the turn signals from the front and getting an integrated turn signal/mirro system. Anyone have any experience with this? I'd love the 1125R stock mirrors on my 08 Firebolt. Any suggestions?

Here is what I run currently:

http://retrittion.googlepages.com/myxb12r32

I get zero mirror vibration after 2500-2700 RPM. I attribute this to removing the rubber sleeve, going to a through nut/bolt rather than the screw-in ones that are stock, tightening the faring down well and making sure the mirror bolts to the faring are tight.

I was planning on changing the nut/bolt to something a bit nicer looking at some point but honestly I like it so I might just keep it. I would be interested to see what's under the rubber on the 1125 mirrors though.
