Does anyone know what size the pinch bolts are on a xb? I'm thinking a 9mm but not to sure because most of the bike is SAE. | ||

They are standard, 3/8 iirc. | ||

I find that alot of the hardware that are allens are a very tight fit. You might even have to tap the allen key into the bolt the first time to get it to sit all the way down | ||

I could have swore that the 3/8 was to big and the and 5/16 was to small. I tried 8mm to small and 10 mm to big. So I was thinking 9mm or 11/32. | ||

3/8 has fit every one I've ever pulled a wheel on, except XBRR... | ||

Yea, I ended up trying again when I got home and still no. I even tried tapping it and it was just a hair to big. So I took the allen set back and got a better quality and "tada" it worked perfect. I was going to buy a torque wrench from autozone but it was the same brand as the hex bits I bought. So I asked the guy would he trust this torque wrench and he looked at me and he whispered "Sears". So needless to say I just got home from sears. It's amazing the quality a tool can make. I have never seen a size not fit. I have seen them break easy. This is one lesson learned. | ||

I will only buy Craftsman tools. They are guaranteed and are usually of good quality and value. Any tool purchased elsewhere has been disappointing. |
