Has anyone heard about a possible recall on 08 motors??? I just heard a nasty rumor at my dealer that some motors might be recalled. i learned this when i took my new 08 XB9SX in because it was not running right.

Any info on this would be great thanks.

Guess we know where the troll comes from -- anyways I have heard nothing about a recall at any of the three dealers I frequent, seems like normal "HD people not knowing much about Buell" schtick. As far as I know the issue is not engine related -- the '08 model changes were not to the entire engine but specific components. I could be wrong, but a full recall seems unlikely.

well my check engine light came on and my manual said see the electronic troubleshooting manual a whole other manual that i dont have. I think it might be a mapping issue butim not sure and my dealer said they have no idea what the problem is. So for now i am without my bike is there anything i can do about this like see another dealer??

Seeing another dealer is always an option -- especially when the current one says they have no idea -- you might want to post this in the Knowledge Vault, since this is a technical question.
