I've been fine with 20/50 year round. We may not get HOTlanta hot, but we do have consecutive days in the 90s here (coupled with MURDEROUS humidity). |

Well, if your wanting/needing to know the temp of your oil get the Dark Horse Moto oil temp cap. The at least you will know. |

Thanks guys. I think it'll be ok this summer, just didn't know if there was a heavier oil that would help keep the heat down! She gets pretty damn hot in the stop and go traffic! |

Hey All. I just did an oil and tranny change with Mobil 1 V-twin 20w-50 (with a stock Buell filter) and boy does my 08 XB12R sound and idle smoother. The bike has 1735 miles on it and I am so glad to get that HD lube out of it... |

Haven't we heard about stator issues if you use anything but "Genuine Harley Davidson" stuff in the tranny? |
