Only had about 3/4" slop in it. Now wonder the thing sounded like a bowling ball in a washing machine. I set it at about 7/16" in the middle of the cold spec and now it no longer sounds like it's beating its way out of the case. Just a whirring noise. Of course that will go away when I add a Dummer or Special Ops!

Waiting for the plug I ordered and I'll be set the TPS. The heck with the dealer.

Careful now, you can get it too tight. You mentioned a "whirring" noise. If it sounds like a supercharger winding down when you're slowing down, you're too tight and will cause a lot of bearing wear.

How difficult is it to reset the TPS on an '07? Noticed you had one, have one myself, been wondering since it's not due to 10K.

Yeah... be VERY careful that you don't get the primary too tight. Too loose is WAY better than too tight.
