I was reading in Sport Bike that Pirelli was replacing the Diablo with the Diablo Corsa. Doesn't the Diablo come on XB's now. If so will 08 or 09 have the "Red Devils"? | ||

the 08's don't have them, don't know what will happen in 09. my 2005 cityx has a pair of rossos on it. | ||

The 09' should have the Diablo T's on them still as with the 08' model. Pirelli is not replacing the original Diablo with the Rosso, it is merely a bridge gap tire between the Diablo and the Diablo Corsa III. The Corsa III is a great street tire but better suited towards a rider who will do a good amount of track days, the Diablo pure street tire with decent longevity, so you get the Rosso which is the best of both worlds. All three tires are excellent and even the Diablo T's have had good success on the track. So pick a price point, you can't go wrong with any DIABLO. | ||

Love the Diablos that came with my '07 12R -- will be sticking with some variation of them when it is time to change them out. |
