Does anyone know if the Memphis Shades Cockpit windscreen is better than the Zero Gravity Double Bubble? And does the colors of these windscreens match the bikes plastics? | ||

Just my opinion, but I'd seriously consider the Zero Gravity ST screen. I bought one for mine and I'm glad I did. The Double Bubble just isn't tall enough unless you're a pretty small guy. I'm 6'1" and the ST screen is tall enough to make commuter and touring type riding a lot more tolerable. And now that I race the bike, I can actually tuck in behind the bubble. Plus, you won't have to worry about melting your gauges! Schmitty | ||

I've not ever used or seen a Memphis Shades screen, but I do have a double bubble Zero Gravity screen. You do have to watch how you park the bike so it doesn't melt the gauges, but the amber colored one is a perfect match to the stock color. I cannot vouch for the other colors. | ||

I got a memphis shades cockpit screen that I don't use. It doesn't match anything I've ever seen for colors its a real light blue. The darker iridium ones from power bronze ( like the one i use) would match the see thru plastics better. | ||

How does the windscreen melt the gauges? It creates a parabola effect. Or is it a hyperbola? From what I've read, it concentrates the light to a focal point, i.e. on you gauge cluster. There is visual evidence of this floating around here I believe. | ||

Yup, DB melting my gauges. I like the look of the double bubble on the bike though, and it provides just enough wind protection when tucked. |
