Im sure this question has been asked before but im lazy and dont want to search through all the posts.  Anyway is this possible to convert an "S" tail into an "X" and has anyone done it. Pics? | ||

I have heard that it will not work because the 2 bikes have a different frame, so the bolts will not line up. If your bike was an SS/STT instead, then you could do the swap. Although anything is possible if you got a machine shop  | ||

The X, TT, and SS all have a different frame, the bolts dont line up. You could do it but is it worth it is another question. | ||

New12 you are incorrect. The X, XT, TT and SS all have a common frame. The R and S have a common frame. the 1125 is a one of a kinda at this point. | ||

Lost, I see that it worked on the SS but is the frame the same on the S? And did you have to modify the tail at all to bolt up on the frame. |
