A tenant in my building knocked my bike over with her jetta and broke several things on the left hand side. The last thing I need to replace is the clutch lever. She never admitted it was her, btw... an anonymous note to me reported it.

Anyway, I'm thinking about Pazzo levers on both sides. I've been wanting a shorty brake lever since i use two fingers there always anyway. My question is, how is the shorty on the clutch side? I have an 04 xb9s. Can anyone comment on the clutch effort, and whether you think the pazzo shortys are ok with 2 fingers? I was planning on going full size on the clutch side, but I prefer the idea of having at least a couple fingers wrapped around the handlebar while shifting...

Any other caveats or recommendations are welcome as well. Thanks

I have the crg shorty levers, which I am sure are exactly the same, and have an '04 xb9sl. I had the same concerns before bought and they are fine. No issues what so ever. I guess it depends on your hand size though, I am a smaller guy.

I have the Pazzo shorties on my Uly. I love them. Very adjustable and look cool too. They could be shorter in my opinion, but they work well. $159 on ebay.

How many fingers can you get on those shortys...

I have an 04 XB12R and have the CRG shorties. I love the short levers cause I started riding on dirtbikes and always used 2 fingers on them. I would suggest getting a Muller Power Clutch or similar for the 03-05 XB's with the CRG/Pazzo shorties.

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like I'll go ahead with it. I'm sure a power clutch would help, but seeing as I'm a climber, if a few people say they can comfortably handle the stock clutch with the shorties, then I feel pretty good about it.

This youtube clips shows the shorties on a 9s on both the brake and clutch I believe, they look good... no comment on the music.

+1 on the CRG Shorty levers. They look and function great. A bit more play or "wiggle" than I was expecting, but a non issue while riding.

I have the shorties, bought them for the same exact reason. I love my Pazzos, but I wish I had gotten a longer one for the brake side. Clutch, no problems getting three fingers, the brake is a bit harder.

i've had the pazzo shorty's for a few weeks now. i love them. solid feel. i use 2 fingers on the brake, and 2 fingers for speed shifting, 3 fingers for traffic on the clutch. i have a softclutch kit which makes 2 finger shifting easier. no regrets. they feel great.
