Hi all,

Been reading awhile and this is my first post. I am tying buy a new bike...fell in love with the FireBolt in blue. Does anyone have any pointers on purchasing a Buell without having to get someone to co-sign on the loan. The dealer told me that due to one item on my history that getting someone to co-sign is the only way. I just want to find out if this correct and if anyone has any thought or idea's.

Big money down might help You..But believe me, they want to sell you the bike, so if they said no!!!, it must be for a good reason

Believe it or not it is actually easier to qualify for a loan through Harley credit than it is to get a loan from any of the japanese manufactures.Unless your credit is really bad I would turn in the application, the dealer sends it to Nevada and in twenty minutes you will have the answer unless they are extremely busy, also like Gonen60 said more money down always helps. Good luck

Try this: find out what that item is, and contact that company to clear it off your history. You may be able to work a deal or something...then once that item is off your record, THEN try to finance. You may need to do some letter writing, or pay some portion of the debt, or pay off the debt, but your credit history will thank you (and so will your wallet, after getting a smaller APR)
