will forks on an xb9 work on the xb12 ? do they need to be the same years or any thing? thanks shawn | ||

They will work but 03 & 04 Xb's have 41mm forks. 05 and up have 43mm forks. I think you just have to change the upper triple tree to make a 43mm work on a 41mm bike. You may have to change both, I can't remember. | ||

i think the outside diameter for all the XB forks is the same across all years and models, so you should be set. | ||

Nope the outside Diameter does change but its the Lower triple tree that need to be changed, all the uppers are the same. Also the low / cg models use the smaller forks. | ||
