The Buell catalog show that the pro spring upgrade kit will work for a 2005 xb12ss. Does anyone know if this is correct? Thanks Chris | ||

Last time I checked it was a big bad no. It says except. Stiffer springs for more aggressive ride. Kit includes two front springs and one rear shock spring. Fits '05-later XB models (except '05 XB12Scg, '06-later XB12Ss, XB12X, XB12XT and XB12STT). | ||

Bike is a 06 long, but the frame is tagged 05? Hence the question. Chris | ||

Good catch ted, I missed the 05 Mine is an 06 that was built in 05 as well. The date on the frame is manufacture date. The SS and uly were both introduced in 06. Common frame. You probably should change the date in your profile. Just curious what does your title say. (Message edited by lost_in_ohio on April 14, 2008) | ||
