I am looking at a 2005 XB12 and the owner says that it is equipped with the factory race kit. He says it includes the exhaust, intake and computer. Any one know if this computer module the same as the sale for around $200, that stats for off road only? And if not what the heck is the difference? |

The Mother ship used to offer the entire kit now they only offer the ECM I do not know why but I believe it was engine emissions with the muffler but I may be wrong |

Yes it is the same computer. If you want to know about the pipe being discontinued: http://badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/1 84039.html?1143576717 |

Without clicking that link, I think I remember the discontinued pipe being due to noise and liability incurred by the dealers who installed them. FWIW: I've had the race kit on my '04 for over 30,000 miles now, trouble free and gets 55 mpg at minimum. More on long freeway trips. (Message edited by pwnzor on April 12, 2008) |
