I have a '03 xb9 and am wondering if I can use another year and model ecm; such as an '04 xb12 race ecm. Different years have different fuel maps to compensate for changes with the bikes air and fuel systems over the years. Your best bet would be to get the XB9 race ECM and get that custom mapped for your bike.   Dobr24 Posted on Thursday, April 03, 2008 - 01:36 pm:        Unless you reflash the ecm you do not want to put a 9 into a 12! Go on ebay, there is plenty of 03 race ECMs for a 9, and they are pretty cheap compared to the newer models
