Went on a ride up to Mt Lemon here in Tucson, AZ with 7 other ricers and although the Busa left me on the short straights, I couldn't help but pass him on the corners. Lotta cops. Two bikes in another group got stopped, we got lucky they were the bear bait..Keep loving the Buell more and more. Glad I didn't go for the Gixxer I was thinkin about.

Unfortunately there has been a lot of police presence on the mountain. They are almost allways at the prison camp, and up around the butterfly trail head. I also see one cruising up and down making brief stops at random spots. You need to be on the look out.

Don't mean to sound like a nag, but passing in the turns on Mt. lemmon is not a very safe practice. I would hate to see you end up a hood ornament.

It's not the paint brush, but the artist... Your Buell is a great tool, but I'll bet you could have done just as well on a GSXR 600 or 750, or Triumph 675, or Ducati, or an R6 etc.

There used to be an awesome pie shop up there. My brother told me it all burned down a few years ago. Have they built it back?

Funny thing is in all my times heading up there, I have never stopped at the pie shop.

I usually end up at the Cookie Cabin for a giant cookie.

You should see the looks from TSA when I try to carry back a few.

That was ridiculous. That poor woman had a pair of needle nose on each side just a yanking.

The pie shop was one of the few things that did not burn, it is still there in all its rustic glory.

Beautiful Weather last weekend. A group of us rode our harleys down from Phoenix up to the top of the Mt. Lemmon on Saturday as well. I wish I had my Buell, but the Road King held its own.
