Also aiding in the easy handling characteristics are all the things that make a Buell a Buell: Oil in the swingarm, fuel in the tank and, of course, the underslung exhaust.

There is fuel in the tank?? NO kidding!

Well yeah, and their's found the older 43mm forks. It should have the new 47's, but hey who's counting? If they gotta run it at 7000 RPM to be happy it probably isn't in them to own a Buell.

The XT doesn't have the 47mm forks. It also doesn't have the 08 Uly triple trees.

That is correct. 43mm is way plenty for the bike.

I only know because I stopped by the dealer today and worked to help sell a new XT.

At least I think he bought it. When they say "let's talk numbers", I think that's usually a good sign. : D

video was lame.

Get this bike in the twisties and hold on. Be hard pressed for anyone to keep up without doing 10/10's pace and being dangerous.

I liked the article, but you can tell the writers aren't typical "sport-touring" riders.

Yeah - I'm not thinking that Mr. Madson got his job at MUSA based on his camera presence.

fuel in the tank

I bet they wrote fuel in the frame, and some copy editor corrected it for them. ;)
