Just wondering if any of you know what the differences in mounting are between the mini-Uly and the Scg?

Would the sub frame bolt right up?

One of the guys here DID a UlyBolt. He took the seat rail and all from a Uly and mated them to his Firebolt! It looks cool BUT he said it wasn't cheap OR easy.

Here's the link to part of his work.

Steve how much DID you change in all? And how long did it take, counting the machining.

Of course as soon as you get done Buell puts the XT out! WHAT I laughing about?? I already started on MY Sport Tourer STT.

How much didn't I change would be easier to answer... The suspension and drivetrain wasn't changed.

How long it took is very hard to answer. Since I didn't keep track of all the hours I put in. Between stripping the powdercoat and epoxy paint off the Uly parts, to machining up the hella mounts(which I am currently re-doing so I have some more adjustability and adding a HID kit to it), and the ignition switch adapter....I just honestly didn't keep track, and couldn't even guess.

And about the XT... Well, I emailed "Flick"( The Buell CEO), and said, "No fair, you guys copied my bike with your XB12XT"... He replied back the next day... "Yup, THANKS!" : )

They knew the bike would sell, with all the attention it attracted at last year's homecoming.

Cool but no kick back from Flick? Not even a sticker?

I'm going with the Hepco-Becker Junior Flash cases and am hoping their bracket will fit without a total rebuild. Only list for the s models not the longer SS or STT.

As I'm "another" dirtbug like CityXslicker I really didn't want a big shield just a little help so I ordered the Cee-Bailey, four screws and I'm Rockin' & Rollin'

No where near what you've done.

I'm of the frame of mind that the XT wouldn't have become reality if not for Steve's creation.

Now all that is required is to get an XT and put a Firebolt front end on it.

Or.. possibly an 1125R fairing?
An XT with super aerodynamics?
I know the top & side cases arn't aero anything but that fairing would keep the cold wind off ya.
