If I had the funds I would stretch my Buell... I think it looks Bad Azz!
Obviously I don't wear the Buell Blinders
I don't think it having blinders but only realizing what this bike is made for and not wanting to destroy it's handling thats all. It doesn't mean it can't look cool. |

Personally, I find the shorty look cooler then stretched. It's more unique in stock form then most other bikes on the road. |

The handling is my biggest issue. If it was just me on the bike I'd have no problem doing it. But with my girl riding too, I'm not taking that chance. |

That's funny right there. Basicly it comes down to what you want and how you use your bike.
*Would I be a poser if I drag race the bike?
*What if I live where corners are not really tight?
I see alot of posers around here, Mainly the ones who diss others for something they like, weather they like stretched/shortened or what ever....
One should transform there bike to how they like it, screw the noobs who do not like it, they are the real posers.
I like many different bikes not just Buells. |

Hell...down here I get screwed with just for having the bolt. The Harley guys respect it because the engine. The Jap guys laugh. As bad as it my sound, my buck stays here.
To me honestly, I love the bike the way it is. I was basically entertaining the idea for my old man. He has a couple guys that work for him with strecthed japs.

Firebolteric-ma, First off I am no noob or poser. I really hope you are using sarcasm, as I had. I could care less what you do to your bike, paint it like Barney the dino and have a clown horn on it, makes no difference to me. My point is that your comment about Buell blinders was rather ignorant simply because Buell built the bike for a purpose, and I really see no sense in re-designing something that works extremely well from the factory.
Again, I was joking in my earlier post. You know, its called sarcasm, tounge-in-cheek, a good ribbing. |

One of our local customers did a stretch WITH a 300 rear tire. Not my cup of tea, but he did a good job of it.
