i have a problem...for some reason my neutral light will not turn off...even though i shift no problem and all that the neutral light does not turn off...good thing i have an amazing feel for the bike or else i would not find neutral

I have had the same trouble on my softail. The wire to the neutral switch comes off and goes to ground causing the light to stay on. I am not sure that the XB switch is the same, but it could not hurt to look.

Or the wire could have rubbed through on the frame or something metal.

Random other question, has anyone else see their Neutral light flash breifly while shifting from 1st to 2nd at night?
