Nice I totally didn't see it the first time and tough they added it for the second time so I went back and watched it again to find out it was really there in the first place.

That was great, I would like to see that on t.v. here as a public service announcement. Anything that makes people think.

The first time I watched it, it was choppy because it was still loading. I saw it and was wondering what the hell it was.

The second time I was actually trying to count the passes, I got the count right, but it was incredible that, even though I knew it was there, I STILL didn't see it!

My coworker then watched it. He didn't see the thing at all.

I hate to say it, but I noticed the bear when he was in the last 1/3 of the screen. It was his ears that caught my eye.

Oops
Somebody ruined it for everyone that hasn't seen it.
Not too bad, less than one day.

I noticed that it was suddenly crowded making it hard to follow the ball but I didn't notice exactly why.

The same process that makes magic tricks possible: Misdirection.

But, a video that tries to save cyclists!!

Thank you for posting this!

Hmmm...I must not be very good at directions. I didn't bother to count the white team's passes at all and immediately paid attention to the bear instead. Guess that's just me.

As a safety dude I've seen some of those before and they snag me every time. . . . really scary.

The EXACT same thing happens when you are LISTENING to someone with a customer service problem and have the "fix" in your mind before you hear the problem.

Caught the bear as he was exiting left. But I didn't notice his nice dance moves in the middle of the screen!

Great idea. Would love to see that on TV.

Yesterday, I rolled out the 9sx to go get a haircut.

Before starting it, I noticed my add in voltmeter only had one of four lights lit. That caught my attention.

So I looked through my translucid flyscreen at the actual voltage (my meter has both analog lights and a digital readout). It said 10.6 volts.

When I hit the starter, it spun up immediately and started easily. Voltage was 13.4.

Did my battery fail? My Stator? My voltage regulator?

and the answer is...
.
.
.
.
The answer is that it was none of the above. I had left my heated grips on high the last time I rode the bike, and the voltmeter is hooked up to the same line the grips are. Turn off the grips, and it pops back to the right voltage.

Like Court said, sometimes offering information only serves to lead people to the same obvious and reasonable (but unfortunately incorrect) conclusion you have already reached. Get as little info as necessary, and make it as factual as possible, and give others the chance to reach their own conclusions...

I think what my good friend Reepicheep is saying is to guard against being distracted by the obvious to the point of arriving at an erroneous conclusion.

You've all now been subliminally hypnotized to do the bidding of me and Vicfirebolt, as we see fit.
