I just wanted to throw this out there for anyone who hasn't checked out the guys at J.E.T. I just got back from their shop in Rhode Island (7 hrs round trip) and was very impressed. I spoke to Robert yesterday for the first time and took the ride out there today to have them take a look at my race bike's motor. I stared having problems last year and finally got around to addressing it. In less than 3 hours they had dynoed my bike in the current condition, stripped the motor from the frame and tore the engine down to inspect heads, cylinders, pistons, crank, etc. They described in greater detail than what I can actually comprehend what was going on with my bike and will get back to me on Monday with a few solutions that can fit my budget.

This father and son team has a wealth of knowledge that can help BadWebbers make small changes that actually DO improve performance on XB's.

I'll let you know how the rest of the repairs and rebuild go.

Pete

I'll throw in a positive experience and suggest you call them if you're considering raising the performance of your Buell.

Found a race ready 12R in CT last year with JET motor-work. I called Bob Johnson prior to buying the bike and listened for about 40 minutes, he confirmed the dyno runs and offered advise if I wanted to get more power out of it. First call after hanging up was to the owner committing to the purchase.

Always has time to chat and answer questions when I call, great Buell people.
