Hey guys I'm sure most of you are familiar with www.speed-if-color.de I emailed them to see if I could get
http://www.speed-of-color.de/index.php?cat=GFKPART SXB&product=XBGFK-012 sent to the good old US of A and their response was yes but they couldnt send their SoC stuff which by looking at their web site is their swag. I like the airbox cover and want it but 269 euros = about 415$ us I've already spent over my budget for winter mods for my bolt so this will have to wait hehe.

Same airbox cover is available from us at
http://www.trojan-horse.co.uk/prods/18.html

Price is GBP172.77 less 5% discount = GBP164.13 (US$328 approx).
Shipping to the USA would be around GBP65 (US$130) by courier or GBP50 (US$100) by Air Mail parcel.

I got this part from Frank Parts in Germany:

http://shop.frank-parts.de/

Their site has an english translation and they were very easy & responsive to deal with. Your problem is timing as the dollar/euro conversion is at an all time high. But the parts are very well made (I got the front fender as well) and reasonably ready for paint.

It is a compo-tech race unit, got it about 4-5 months ago. I think the paint and buckle guard weigh more than the cover. Very thin and strong. Really lets the induction sounds come through. Fits the American Sport Bike open air kit well, but not so well with the stock air box. Needs to be trimmed to clear pucks and a screen helps keep most of the rain out.

Treadmarks "batman" style airbox cover is no longer available. I contacted them a couple months or so ago and was told it's no longer being made??? Wonder if there was some kind of problem with making it (or liability issues) as I asked if they could make some more and was told no more being made......bummer....
