I just got my wheels back from GrandStand Designs and wanted to share some pics. I told myself I wouldn't post any pictures until the bike was back together and all my winter mods were complete, but I couldn't resist.

For those who don't know about GrandStand, I highly recommend them. Awesome customer service, great quality work, very friendly, etc., etc. I can't say enough good about them.

I really should have cleaned the packing supply dust off them to showcase their work better, but I'll clean them after the tires get mounted later this week. Suffice it to say, I'm very happy with the finish!

Give Pete at GrandStand a call for pricing...I had him do a TON of parts this winter, so I'm not 100% sure what the piece price was for the wheels.

It'll be more than $100 for the set, I can guarantee that. I'd like to see the quality on a $100 set, personally.

GSD's standard price for sportbike wheels is $125 each. This includes bearing removal and re-installation, stripping of all old coatings, sandblasting and phosphate pre-treatment. I have additional charges for custom taping for multi tones like Nick's wheels above.

As one of the BadWeb's newest sponsors, I am offering members a 10% discount on all my products and services.

I'm hoping that doesn't mean reinstallation of old bearings.....

That looks sooooo much better then the stuff I had done locally.

Pete, how much of a PITA is it to strip off the powder coat?

Pete - how close is your red to the red on a 07/08 Firebolt?

Those wheels are nice

Tq_freak, Just like any other job having the right tools and equipment makes all the difference. I strip old powder coatings everyday. So is it a PITA? Yes. Can we do it? Absolutely.

Maddiemsu, I have 4-5 different reds in stock but will get you an exact match if I need to. Just send a piece of the bodywork, like the passenger seat cover.
