All,
I was checking my bike for a ride when I noticed the seat moves a bit. Maybe I am having new bike (XB9S)paranoia but my seat slides a full 1/4 inch front to back.Is this normal or did I put it on wrong? I know the sales guy told me it was a pain to get on. It does latch in and the front tongue goes into the slot and the back hooks appear to catch. But it still slides a bit.

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Mine moves about the same amount.... been that way since new (NOV 02)... It never moves when I'm on the seat though...

Stick with the S... it's a much better looking bike and easier to ride all day.

(Had to a rebuttal in there)

Seriously though... my "S" is the same, and I've never noticed movement when riding so I haven't worried about it.
