I've been back and forth for a long time now between the Micron and the Special Ops for my XB9. I've read and re-read the exhaust shootout, but their soundclips are hard to judge due to the dyno cell.

I loved the Micron on my SV, but I'm trying to justify the price versus something like the Spec Ops. Not interested in the Drummer due to its price and relative power output compared to the Micron and Spec Ops. I'm also concerned with ultimate flow for that one special day I do some engine work...

I have heard both, For the money the Spec. Ops is the way to go!

I had a clip of one on my bike, I can't find it now. I love the spec ops pipe. great deal, great guy to deal with, and its all i needed.

I'm definitely buying another one when i get my 12r.

If it doesnt work just go to you tube and type in spec ops pipe buell xb, and it should pop up.

Sunfire changed to a Drummer SS, but then sold his XB. He's now one of my BMW riding brethren.

BTW - I've got a Drummer SS on my XB9, and the noise "in real life" is deep & rich & loud like the Special Ops in the vidclip, though with a bit of sharp "twang".
