Hey all, I know there are tons of tire threads here, but just wanted a quick opinion about which tire may be the better get after last seasons riding experiences! I didn't know if anyone spent a whole season on the Pilot CT's vs, the Corsa III's, and who prefers which, pro's / con's etc. Thanks again - |

My 2 cents. Pilot power 2ct on the front and regular Pilot power on rear. The edges (stickier part)of 2ct rear wears to quick for me. The regular pilot power is sticky enuf. I cant out ride the rear. It also a bit cheaper. I prefer the profile of the pilot powers better. Turns quicker and leans over further/easier. Any impressions/opinions on the new Rosso tire? |

The pilot powers are better for really twisty stuff, and the diablos are better for longer faster corners... The Diablos are also much better suited for the rain. As a side note, personally I run out of space on the pilot powers much more then I do on the Diablos... I can go just as quickly, if not quicker, with the Diablos and still have some room before I am riding on the very edge. |

Can anyone detail the differences between the Corsa III's and the Rosso's? |

Corsa III's seemed to wear better for me all around. Also, Corsa's seemed to do better in the rain and give me more "room" when it comes to leaning over. I run out pretty quick with the Powers of edge. One weird thing (maybe all in my head) is that the Corsa's feel a bit "twitchy" (sensitive to input) to me when really leaned over vs. the Powers which seemed rock solid and forgiving. Not sure if that really holds water though. |

the Rosso is an even wear tire front and back equal and supposedly a little better for street but a little less on the track so far as I know same quick warm up there is an article on them in motorcyledaily.com under product review |
