On Nip Tuck last night a woman riding an XB12s in a gay pride parade lost control, popped a wheelie and ran down Rosie!! I never laughed so hard!!!

It seems Buell's are getting a lot of screen time these days.

I'm not sure this is public knowledge but the rider did not loose control . . . the ECM is programed to do that to defend the bike when any two of the sensor inputs detect a social deviance.

Problem is . . . to get it adjusted properly the bike had to be moved a great distance from East Troy . .

I watched that as well, Then later on in the episode the woman riding the bike called it a "crotch-rocket"

so disappointing

but it was funny with Rosie with tire tracks on her face!

Several seasons ago they used a Firebolt in a scene to cut off her ear, another good moment.

Ya know that might be why I didn't see a single Buell when I was in DC.

That was a reaction from the "SMUG" elimination system. (Stupid Megalomaniacal Unbalance Gits) This feature is often activated on twisty backroads when overtaking overconfident import bike riders that are emitting traces of SMUG-ness. However, in the presence of such a huge SMUG source like Rosie, the system went a little haywire.

I'm astounded so many people watch nip/tuck.

Although I would like to see Rosie, as Jimmy said"tire tracks all across your back..."

>>Alec Baldwin

No. In deference to §173 ¶8B Buell has designed the system to be "Baldwin Resistant".

That's why the wiring, in front of the buss block, is shielded.

It's all pretty technical but had to be done after someone got to close to Baldwin and bought a Ural.

Thats funny.. to bad I missed it. On a similar note however. I finaly caught up on watching Monk on the USA network last night. The episode where he beats down a bad santa. And there was a black firebolt that bad santa tried to use as a getaway ride. but Monk beat his ass. Them little shots are out there. and seems to be more and more of them catching a Buell in the lens. I like it.

Oh, you guys are cruel and heartless. Try and show some respect. Imagine if Rosie really did get run over by a Buell. Think of how terrible that would be.
I mean, the Buell would be so badly damaged from smacking her fat ass you'd have to write the bike off. Not to mention the chance of having her ugly mug permanently indented into the fairing. Then what would you ride??

I caught part of Blade last night, couldn't tell if it was an R or S model. I only caught the last 20 minutes of it or so, but saw the bikes twice in that timeframe! Might have to rent that one...too bad they dubbed in the whiny "sportbike" sound on his exit wheelie though.

Two R models used in "Trinity". One blue (Jessica Biel rode) and one black (Wesley Snipes rode.)

There was a Buell in "Ballistic" also. An X1, IIRC.

There was, once, a site that listed all motorcycle appearances in movies, and you could search by manufacturer.
