As to how a pair of 1125R mirrors would look on a Firebolt ?

There's a couple threads going on just this subject and some photoshopping of the concept too.

Check em out... and yep - looks cool but would be a little work. Mounts would bolt right up though.

Since I had the mirrors off of both bikes for a track weekend, I did the swap and took some photos. You have to drill a hole between the mounting stud holes for the turn signal wiring to pass thru. The electrical connectors have one male & one female bullet connector. Since the turn signals are LED's the polarity matters. Making up a short adapter ( Gender changer ) for one of the leads should be pretty easy. The wires look long enough to connect to the existing Firebolt wiring harness.

But, I'm the first to have actually bolted a set on...

Great shots. Do you think they are any wider than the "r" mirrors? Do they vibrate more or less?

Thanks
Neil S.

The mirrors are on the 1125R now, but I didn't put a tape measure or even start the engine in the Firebolt, so I don't have answers fro you. I sat on it and the mirror looks to give less of your elbows that the stock '06 mirrors.

I'm betting this will become standard. Sure cleans it up... nicely!

Nice pics Slaughter, but why aren't you prepping your bike for the coming season instead of messing about with rear view mirrors........or have you retired?
LOL

Mirrors? They're not allowed anyways. : D
